You only need to enable dither when reducing bit depth in your export (e.g., a 24-bit source file that will be exported at 16 bits). For complete control over your dithering options, open the Dither module. It can be accessed by clicking on the button located just below the Mono and Swap buttons underneath the Master Input/Output section.

Make a mistake?
Want to back up a few steps? You can do that! Just click Undo, or the History button on the bottom of the Ozone interface to expose an entire history list of your mastering process. You can always backup or retrace your steps as you learn how to master and get the best sound possible.
Quality assurance
Before you send it off for distribution, listen back to the entire file multiple times on different systems to ensure it sounds great in different environments.
Go to File/Save or use Ctrl+S to save a file in its current format.
To save a file as a copy or in another format go to File/Save As (Ctrl+Shift+S). You can also select just a portion of your project and export that segment as a new file by going to File/Export Selection (or Ctrl+Shift+E)

Output Options
Click the Output Options button from the Save File As menu to access export options.
Sample Format -Choose the sample format (bit depth) you wish to export your file to from this drop down menu.
Dithering -Dithering is used to attain higher quality when exporting to a lower bit depth. This option is grayed out when it is not applicable to avoid unnecessary dithering, for example if you are exporting to the same sample format as the current file.

- None(Truncate) - converts to a new bit depth without applying dither, instead truncating or removing the extra bits.
- White Noise (TPDF) - standard quality dithering
- MBIT+ - iZotope's proprietary noise shaping method for improved quality*
Preserve Non-Audio Data - When enabled, this feature preserves additional data in your audio file, such as cue points or ACID-ized WAV information.
While both versions of RX feature basic MBIT+ dither on export, iZotope RX Advanced also features a special Dither Module which allows full control over MBIT+ dither settings.
